Well, since we skipped spring and all and went straight to August temperatures, we quickly realized that our air conditioner has bit the dust (unfortunately faster than we originally anticipated, we thought we could make it through the summer, boy were we wrong!). And of course, it couldn't have happened at a worse time.
Unfortunately, our final adoption payment is due in just two months. And our court fees in about three. And we just paid off the bill from when the guy came to fixed said A/C a few weeks ago, and obviously didn't. And we have about a billion weddings/showers coming up. And well, seeing as how we don't regularly poop money, we are a little overwhelmed at the moment!
And I'm a sissy about the heat! And unfortunately, so is Anna, and I just don't see how we can sleep in the basement for the summer. Oh man.

Ours broke during the tornado and I was totally doing the happy dance once it was finally replaced...
I'm a total weeny about the heat (preggers or not) so I feel your pain. Time to call in some favors...sleeping good in someone else's house trumps sleeping crappy in your own :-)
Times like this is why people invented financing plans...being a grown-up stinks sometimes huh?
