2012

Our family has had a truly blessed year.  Just a few highlights:

- In February, we celebrated our beautiful daughter's 1st birthday!

- In March, we completed our Homestudy and paperwork for Adoption #2.

- In March, we also received the news that our profile had been chosen by a birthmom and that the baby boy was coming very soon!

- In April, our dear son Anthony was born.  He was born on Holy Thursday and we celebrated Easter by bringing our second child home.

- In May, we celebrated my second Mother's Day with another Baptism.  Two years in a row and I couldn't be happier to share my day with such a very special Sacrament for my children.

- In May, we also took our first vacation as a family of four and celebrated the wedding of my childhood best friend, Annie.

- In July, we celebrated our 4th wedding Anniversary.

- In August, my beautiful niece was born.  Her and Anthony quickly became fast friends and my kids have so much fun playing with their cousin "Chee-Chee".

- In September, we travelled to Wisconsin to celebrate the first birthday of our very special Godson, Theodore.  And of course, I celebrated my 27th birthday and Anna's Adoption Day.

- In October, we were overjoyed to celebrate Anthony's Adoption Finalization!

- And now December, we've thoroughly enjoyed spending lots of time with family and celebrating traditions old and new with our children. 


As I look back on the last year, I can't even believe how abundantly blessed we have been.  There have certainly been challenges, but in the end, welcoming our son into our home and our niece into the family have been the biggest highlights.  Sometimes I still can't believe that I am the mother to two such beautiful children.  They are such a joy and delight and it makes me all the more excited to see what God has in store for our family in the future.
