Private

I've been doing a lot of blog thinking in the last few weeks.  I really love to blog.  I love to document our life and I really enjoy reading past posts and seeing how our journey has led us to where we are today.  This is my life on here.  I'm pretty much an open book.  And there lies the challenge.

I like to be an open book.  I like sharing our joys and struggles.  I hope that it helps others in their IF and adoption journeys.  But most importantly, it reminds me of where we've been and how blessed we are to have our four beautiful children.  When I'm having a rough day raising my children, I read past posts and am instantly reminded of the blessing each and every one of my babies is to me.  I'm reminded to never take them for granted and I'm reminded of my purpose as their mom, to get them to heaven.

With all that said, the time has come to make my blog private.

I really really hate to do it.  Open book, remember?  But with 3 different birth families, and two of those families who we have no contact with, I'm beginning to be uncomfortable sharing information about my kids.  Particularly AA and M as the lack of information about their birth families paired with some comments from case workers, it's in their best interests to keep their information private.

So for safety and privacy reasons, I need to be aware of who is reading.  I thought about stopping the blogging altogether, but realized that it's such an outlet for me.  And it's like a family scrapbook with pictures and captions of so many memories and important events in our lives.  I don't want to stop.  So I'm simply making it not so public.

So, if you'd like access to my blog, and I hope you do, you can email me at k.smallthingswithgreatlove@gmail.com.

I have no problem granting people access.  If I don't know you, if you could let me know who you are or link to your own blog, I'd love to have you read.  I don't want to lose readers and I enjoy following many of your stories and I will continue to do so.  Just send me an email and I can easily give you access!!

Thanks to all who read about our family's journey.  We are overjoyed at the way our family has grown and I look forward to blogging about our adventures as a family of 6!
