Anthony continues to be incredibly verbal. He repeats a lot of what we say and he uses words in context all of the time. He pretty much jabbers non stop all day long. He's got to keep up with that crazy sister of his!
He's still not doing any crawling or pulling up or anything. Although he's finally starting to try. He gets up on his arms and he'll get up on his knees, but he can't quite figure out how to put the two together. He can also stand up against things if we put him there, but then he just lets go and sits down. He is scooting and rolling everywhere, so he's definitely mobile, just not an upright kind of mobile yet... He'll get there I'm sure. He just doesn't care. He's happy all day long just sitting and playing. It's nice to have such a content baby!
Anthony just adores his daddy. If he hears his voice or sees him at all, daddy has to pick him up. He is happy as a clam all day long playing and rolling around on the floor. But the minute daddy comes home, he has to be in his arms :-). He also can't get enough attention from Anna. He loves it when she plays with him or pushes him or tackles him. He doesn't care how rough she is with him (I care, he doesn't). He just loves her attention! He also loves any and all people. He smiles at everyone and has yet to meet a person he doesn't like. He gets complimented all of the time on how happy he is. People always say they feel so special when he smiles at them. I let them think it, but really, he loves everyone!
| Oh the things little brothers have to put up with. Pink floral sunglasses? |
Anthony just popped another tooth through yesterday! That makes 3, with 3 more trying to come in. He's got his 2 bottom ones with 2 more trying to come in, one top one and a second top one on the way.
We started transition him to milk this week. We put 2 oz of milk into his cups with 4 oz of formula. He didn't care at all. He hasn't had any spit up or anything, so as soon as this container of formula is gone, we're done with formula (hopefully not for good, we'd love another baby!). He's drinking all of his milk out of a cup now too. We've been working on it for a few weeks and we put the bottles away this week. He does great! He's such a big boy!
Anthony's still a great sleeper! He just gets better and better! He sleeps from 7:30pm-6:30am. He's taking a quick morning nap (8:30-9) and then usually a nice long afternoon nap (12-3).
I can't believe I'm looking at a 2 year old and an almost 1 year old! They're growing up way too fast, but each age becomes more and more fun! It's such a joy to watch my babies grow!

So sweet. He is a charmer!!!
I hope we can get together this summer. I think all 4 kids will have a blast this time since they are all a little older.
He is adorable! So hard to believe he is the tiny baby in the top of your blog header!!! ADORABLE as ever!!! It has to be so cute to have him babbling and talking! <3
Gah! I can't wait to cuddle my sweet Godson!! And miss Anna, too!! :) Also, our doctor said that the milestone is no longer crawling, it's just being able to get from point A to point B. Theo was almost 1 before he crawled, too. :)
