We're getting our first foster care placement soon, sometime between now and the first week in October! It's just respite for another foster family (they're having a baby), so it's very short term. A few days, possibly weeks. We're excited! The kids are the same ages/genders as our kids give or take a few months, so Anna's looking forward to having a "friend sleep in Anna's room" for a little bit. The case worker also said that she's hoping we get a longer term placement soon!
We went to visit my grandparents last weekend. They recently moved up to an assisted/independent living center in Iowa near my dad's siblings. They're apartment is really nice and they're very happy up there. The kids enjoyed our visit with them. My aunt and uncle and my cousin and his family came to visit too. Anna had a blast with Evy (whose only a month older than Anna).

We went to another Cornbelter's game, this time with our friends and Anna's best buddy, Anne! They both got their faces painted.
Anthony loves anything that plays music. In particular, this guitar. He's so cute playing it and dancing to it!
Anna's dance class started this week! She had an absolute blast and has asked to go back every day since. I'm looking forward to next week's!

We went to daddy's work today for lunch! The kids always love going. Anthony loves to say hi to EVERYONE! And Anna loves to ride the "assagators" (escalators...). All morning long, anytime we saw someone, Anna said, "we going to daddy's work, Ate Farm (state farm) and eat pizza and breadsticks with dip. We ride assagators!"
