National Adoption Month

November is National Adoption Month.  I'm almost late on this but the truth is, I'm not entirely sure what to say...  How do you put into words the love you have for your children?

Adoption is our lives.  There is not an aspect of our lives that hasn't been touched by Adoption.  My feelings on it are obvious in everything I say and do.

Adoption has created our family.

Adoption has blessed us with children.  Four beautiful, happy, spunky, holy little children.

Adoption has made us parents.  We are forever grateful for that.  And incredibly humbled by it.

Adoption has given our children their forever families.  Our kids wouldn't all be siblings were it not for adoption.  And while we regularly mourn for the siblings they cannot be with, we are overjoyed with how abundantly blessed they've been together.

Adoption has brought us to our knees in prayer.  And to our feet in rejoicing.

Adoption has opened our eyes to many things, but particularly to the very hard and very selfless decision their birth families made when placing their children with us.

Adoption has changed our lives and our hearts more than we thought possible.  And for it, we are forever grateful.
