Today is the Feast of St. Anne and St. Joachim. St. Anne has definitely interceded for us in our journey to parenthood. And our sweet Anna is named after her. So we're definitely enjoying our day celebrating these wonderful saints. St. Anne and St. Joachim, pray for us!
Our 5th Anniversary was last week (the 19th). We had a really nice day celebrating. And we went to the Shakespeare Festival play that evening. It was really fun and a nice date with my hubby. It's been a wonderful five years, definitely crazier than I ever imagined and I look forward to spending many, many more years with Jeremy. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful, kind, sweet husband!
In the two quick takes I've done so far, my computer has spontaneously shut down twice. I have a very strong dislike for this computer. There's definitely no room in the budget for a new one, so it better stop acting up and start working for me when I want it to!
The weather around here this week has been simply gorgeous. We took advantage of it the other evening and spent some time outside. We went to ISU's Quad, where Jeremy and I both graduated from and had a picnic. We enjoyed running around and playing on the quad. Then we went to Uptown and visited the train station. Anthony had a blast watching the buses come ago. We played in the fountain and the kids just had a blast.
Anything with water in it is a holy water font to Anna. She was dipping her fingers in the little puddle at the park and she was blessing herself.
Lately Anna tells everyone who asks her age, "Anna's 2, BroBro's 1 and Mommy's 40." Thanks Anna, you just added 13 years to my age.
We decided to take today as a stay at home day. We've been pretty much going somewhere every day and having a blast doing it. But my house needed some attention. And luckily it rained anyway. So we had a movie morning while I cleaned like crazy. My house is now immaculate, my kids are taking wonderful naps, and I've got my grocery list ready for this evening.

Isaiah blessed himself with toilet water a few months ago! Kids are crazy!
The weather here has been amazing too! Loving this summer! If my allergies were not the worst they have been in my whole life, I would want this summer to last forever. There is a cross with every joy.
