We've enjoyed some pool time this summer! Both kids love the water!

Today's weather is absolutely gorgeous. 70s with a nice little wind and some puffy white clouds. It's quite a nice break from the heat we're having. So we spent our morning at the park. And I am currently regretting the fact that Anthony spent most of the time sleeping in my wrap at the park.... Because now he won't nap. And he needs to nap because I need a little break from holding him. And his sister is napping.

I attempted braids in Anna's hair this week! They actually turned out quite cute and lasted about 4 days before they started to look unkempt. Which is pretty good considering this active toddler!

| I set up the high chair in the basement in front of the tv. I attempted it right after naptime because that's the only time of day that she's mellow. She had a snack, her milk, her GeeGee and some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to watch. It only took one episode! |

| Here's the finished product! 8 braids with cute clips at the bottom! My parts in the back were kind of uneven, but next time I need to use one of our taller chairs because it was hard to reach the back of her hair at a good angle! She is currently back to sporting the afro, but I'll have to do more styles like this! |
Anna's Godparents have been in town visiting from Pittsburg! It's been so good to see them and their son (my birthday buddy). Matthias has gotten so big! I can't believe he's almost one!
We had dinner with some friends and walked around their lake feeding stale bread to teh ducks. Anna was super brave and was walking right up to the ducks! She's usually a scaredy cat about things like that!
I REALLY need Anthony to give in and go to sleep!!! Or it's gonna be a long evening at our house!
Uncle Joey was in town for 2 days between his summer job (Totus Tuus) and going back to school! The kids loved seeing him. Well, in all honesty, Anna's a little scared of him (all guys in general) but she warmed up quickly!

What a beautiful family!! We love visiting the pool and waterparks during the summer too. Ahh wish summer could last longer,but not the dreaded heat.

We went to the Zoo again today (MUCH COOLER WEATHER) and when we got home, Bella did not fall asleep for nap at all. She is going to be in bed by 7:30 tonight!!
Love the trips to the pool!! And the braids!
