Day 9: I'm thankful for the wonderful care my hubby took of both kids yesterday while I was in bed with the stomach flu. He's such a great daddy. At the end of the day, he sat down and said, "Wow, I'm exhausted, you do a lot in a day!" I'm glad he appreciates all I do on a daily basis :-). And I'm thankful I'm feeling better today!
Anna's rocking another new do this week. We went for princess hair. We watched Cinderella and Anna insisted on looking like a princess. So we went for it. She loves it and so do I. We're going for two weeks with this one :-).
I can't believe my baby turned 7 months old this week! He's getting so big and just so darn cute! I'll try to get his 7 month post up sometime soon!
One day this week, Anna climbed on her daddy's desk and got his crucifix down. She then proceeded to carry it around all day, kissing it. And making Mickey kiss it. And her brother. And me. And she calls him Jees-A

Anna has some strange food favorites. Her favorite snack is ice. I may have mentioned it before, but this kid eats ice cubes all day long. I can't really complain, they're cheap, healthy, and not very messy. I'm impressed that she can hold the ice cube until it melts.
She also LOVES LOVES eggs. This morning she asked for a snack and I asked her what she wanted. She responded with "EYYYYGGG" and "Shish" (goldfish). Um, okay?
And finally, the kid LOVES toast. Every morning for breakfast, she eats her "doburt, doburt" (yogurt) and then asks for "tooooowwwww" (toast). Breakfast is not complete until she's had her toast.
We made some homemade finger paints this week. And we made turkey hand/footprints. They turned out really cute (although I don't have a picture of the finished product, I'll have to get on that). Both kids enjoyed painting!

Our adoption agency is celebrating National Adoption Month with a potluck on Sunday (like the one we attended last year.). We're excited to see some of the people we've met in the past through our agency and hopefully see the foster family that took care of Anna before we got her!

Super cute with the finger paints. Anthony looks so old sitting there! Also, do share the recipe!!
I'm glad you are feeling better - the stomach flu sounds terrible. I just hate flu season!
Anna's hair is BEAUTIFUL!!! You did an amazing job! I had to enlarge the picture just to see it better and I can't fathom how you did that! I love it!!
I can't believe Anthony is 7 months! I look at his little baby picture in the header .... he's grown so fast!
