It's a Boy!

It's the post I've been waiting to write!!! (Okay, admittedly, it's only been a month, but I'm so NOT patient!)

If all goes well, we will be parents to a baby boy sometime in the next two weeks!

We just got a call from our case worker that we've been identified again.  The birthmom is due on April 6 with a baby boy and she would like to meet us on Tuesday!

Right now it seems as if it's a pretty sure thing.  There may be some birthfather issues that need worked out, so the baby will probably be in newborn care after he's born.  But the birthmom did say she'd like to see us in the hospital and that she wants us to have visiting rights while he's in newborn care. 

There's so much I have to do!  Wash newborn clothes, wash newborn diapers, set up our infant sleeper, make some freezer food, oh my goodness, the list is endless!

So please say extra prayers for the birthmom, baby boy, for us, and for Anna, that she has a smooth transition!!!!

I can't even think straight right now!

For someone who is infertile, it is quite a joy to think that we will have two babies just 13 months apart.  I cannot believe this is happening to us, what a huge blessing.  God is so good to us!  And wow, I don't think I can ever look at Lent as penitential again...  Two years in a row?  That's just crazy talk!
